49ers vs. Rams By the Numbers
September 22, 2017 05:23 PM | Keiana Martin

The San Francisco 49ers concluded their third game of the season on a somber note. Despite the 41-39 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, there were many positives to take away from the 49ers performance.

Take a look at the break down of some key numbers from Thursday night's contest.

1
forced fumble by Victor Bolden Jr. The rookies first career forced fumble came on a kickoff in the fourth quarter and was recovered by Aldrick Robinson. The 49ers then scored the potential game-tying touchdown before missing on the two-point conversion.

2
rushing touchdowns for Carlos Hyde. It was Hyde's fourth-career multi-touchdown game.

7
career receiving touchdowns for Garrett Celek. The tight end scored on a 1-yard pass from Brian Hoyer in the fourth quarter.

9
Hoyer's 9-yard touchdown run gave the 49ers their first touchdown of the 2017 season. That play marked the second rushing touchdown of Hoyer's career and first since his NFL debut with the New England Patriots in 2009.

26
points scored by the 49ers in the second half. That's the most second-half points put up by the 49ers since Dec. 23, 2013 against the Atlanta Falcons (31 points in the second half).

30:17
time of possession for San Francisco's offense. The 49ers held the ball six minutes longer than their average from the previous two games.

39
points scored by the 49ers. That's San Francisco's highest point total in a game since Oct. 27, 2013 against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London (42 points).

100
career receptions for Kyle Juszczyk. Juszczyk hauled in a 34-yard catch and run up the left seam.

142
receiving yards for Pierre Garçon to lead all 49ers pass-catchers. Garçon now has 16 career 100-yard performances, and Thursday night was his sixth-best single-game total.

332
passing yards for Brian Hoyer, who completed 23-of-37 throws with two touchdowns. His passing output marks the second-highest single-game total of his career (397 yards against the Indianapolis Colts on Oct. 9, 2016). Thursday night also marked Hoyer's 10th career 300-yard passing game.
